Our organization has established a systematic program to be adapted by local schools. Providing meals daily for children in need to take home for them and their family. In doing this we are combating adolescent mental illness by directly focusing on the impact hunger has in the equation.

In 2019 our Dusé Coffee Roasters quickly gained momentum surrounding mental health awareness within our immediate community in Atlanta, GA.
Sacrifice
After the quarantine mandate, many of our friends and peers lost their livelihood due to the circumstances. We decided to not compete with our neighbor but discover how we could help serve them while also serving the families and communities they serve each day.
Impact
TCF & sponsors directly impacted 46,000 children, families, and community members during the pandemic. Integrating workable systems into schools for students to stay nourished while at school and at home. All while bridging the gap between resources and those in need.
Grounded in Purpose
True Community began as Dusé Coffee Roasters, an Atlanta-based roastery that used coffee to bridge the gap between resources and support for individuals facing mental health challenges.
As of 2026, TCF is led and supported by roasters, baristas, Q graders, farmers, and café owners, working alongside professionals from across the coffee industry to drive meaningful community impact.
